Your long runs over diverse and unpredictable terrain are more comfortable in the Roclite 315 Trail Run Shoe. The further you go, the more the terrain is going to change. To compensate for that, the Roclite has three different rubber densities on the sole to increase durability and enhance grip. On the heel the rubber is the hardest and most durable with medium rubber through the center of the shoe for increased traction, and the softest rubber is found on the edges for grip and security with each foot strike. For consistent traction throughout the entirety of your run, the Roclite has multi-directional, claw-shaped lugs with wide contact area. These cleats also quickly release any trail debris so you won’t get bogged down.
The new X-Protec upper from Inov 8 keeps your feet protected from rocks, roots, and dirt while providing exceptional durability. So no debris enter your shoe, a reinforced hybrid tongue and on-the-shoe gaiter hooks were constructed so you can focus on racking up miles, not emptying your shoes. To keep you out on the trails longer, the Roclite has a Powerflow midsole that offers 10% better shock absorption and 15% better energy return than standard midsoles. The more miles you log the more fatigued you will get. To ensure you perform at your best even when loosing steam, an external heel cage wraps around the reel of the shoe for support and extra hold that helps you maintain a better gait as you get more and more tired.
